How to find us
Accessible ONLY by air, our lodges and outposts are 15-30 minutes flights via float plane from Hornepayne in Northern Ontario.
- If you are traveling from the United States, cross into Canada at Sault Ste Marie, ON and travel north along the Trans Canada highway 17 to highway 631 in White River. Head north on 631 to Hornepayne. The drive along the shore of Lake Superior is stunning with spectacular scenery, scenic lookouts and opportunities for exploring. It takes approximately 4.5 hours to drive from Sault Ste Marie, ON to Hornepayne.
- From Southern Ontario, travel north along the Trans Canada highway 17 to the town of White River. Turn right and head north on hwy 631 and continue for another 60 miles to Hornepayne.
- Another option is to take the VIA train from Toronto or one of the stops on route and relax the entire way. Let us meet you in Hornepayne and transport you to the airbase for your flight into camp.
In Hornepayne, turn left off of hwy 631 north on to Front Street, travel to Third Avenue. Turn left on Third Avenue and drive approximately 5 miles to Government Lake.Third Avenue will change into Government Lake Road. Forde Lake Air Services will be located on your right.
